Intersection - Transit Enhancements Soutel Transit Hub

Description

Construction of Sherwood Transit Court; a new two-lane roadway with a 10-foot sidewalk on one side, curb and gutter and drainage improvements. The roadway provides access to a new transit station. The road connects Soutel Drive to the Sibbald Road/Linda Lane intersection.

Status

Completed

Construction is complete and a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on July 22, 2016.

Benefits

There is now a direct road connection between Soutel Drive and Sibbald Road/Linda Lane. The transit station provides a connection point for three bus routes. Passenger amenities such as shelters, benches and a ticket vending machine were installed.
