Roadway - Transit Enhancements Girvin Road (Atlantic Boulevard to Wonderwood Drive)

Description

Reconstruction of the existing roadway to five lanes between Atlantic Boulevard and Ashley Melisse and three lanes between Ashley Melisse and McCormick. The project included curb and gutter, sidewalks and bike lanes.

Status

Completed

Construction was completed and the roadway opened to the public on February 14, 2019.

Benefits

The new roadway increased traffic capacity, decreased congestion and added dedicated bike lanes.
